Kelly and Steve from Embers had just finished recording their self titled album with their previous group Lesser of Two (lesseroftwo.bandcamp.com).
Our good friend Dominik who passed away five years ago had been there for most of the session. He did much of the art for Lesser of Two, the cover of Memoria In Aeterna, the Embers' logo, and much more.
Dan Rathbun of Polymorph who was the engineer told us that His Hero is Gone (HHIG) would be recording soon. Dominik thought it would be a good idea to do an interview while they were in town.
Lesser of Two had played a show with HHIG in Little Rock back in '95, and asked if we could drop by to do this interview. They said yes, and this conversation is what came of it.
Recently we were digging through some belongings and found this tape. Better late than never.
